Reminisce

I've been to England and I wish I could say I started this painting while I was there.The time I paint is usually late at night so I have to work from photos.I usually take my own photos but, this came from an old England calender.I treat a photo like I'm looking at the scene and start the painting. I don't try to copy a photo, I try to get the feel of the scene. I thought it needed something else and I had some images of a heron I had taken. I feel it gave the painting serine touch.
