New Wilmington Afternoon

New Wilmington is in western Pa. and is a Amish community. I love the fact that it is not built up and I can find inspiration around every bend. My wife asked me what I wanted for my sixtieth birthday, a new lens for the camera or something like that. I said no all I want is to take the day and go paint. That was how this painting started. I then finished it in the studio.
